In Sea of Dunes
The sun blazed in the sky as the young bovinite made his way along the road from the fungal forest, hood pulled up along with his mask to protect him from the sun and the sand, grabbing his canteen and taking a sip of wate. Delrius had sweat running down his face, wiping what he could as he could see bandits pass just ahead of him, checking his map to make sure he knew his route. “Well, making some good time………hopefully getting through the pass won’t take too long.” Though seeing the size of it, if he kept a solid pace for a little longer than a day he could more than likely reach the other side, if he didn’t hit any delays. There was a cross roads coming up soon, it would probably be better to try reaching the pass at mid day tomorrow, perhaps earlier depending on when he woke up the next day. He stopped where the paths diverged, one leading towards Nirvana and the other in the direction he wanted, checking the placement of the sun and cursing under his breath. “I’m gonna start losing light soon, better set up camp before it gets too dark to see.” Delrius took his knife as he cut apart some cactuses that were near the cross roads, gathering them up and pricking himself every now and then, using the pant life and dead roots to start a fire, the desert could be cold and harsh and night. Not to mention this fire would keep most predators and other wildlife away for the night, sitting on a rock as he reached into his satchel and grabbed his journal. He was taking notes of his journey so far, deciding to write about his Adventure and journey to becoming a wandering healer. His camp was off the main path, away from the traffic of others that might pass by but with the flames of the fire it wasn’t like he wasn’t visible. Delrius pulled his hood down and the mask from his face, his yellow eyes staring into the flames for a moment as he placed his journal away, leaning forward and resting his arms on his legs, humming softly to himself. “Emerald city here I come. It’s been a little while since I went back, but it will be a worthwhile trip.” The bovinite looked forward to seeing the city again, reaching into his coat pocket to feel the bag of coins there, making sure he still had them as he intended on using it to purchase any form of knowledge he could on medicine. @Akna Xiu

In Sea of Dunes
Delrius felt as though he had been traveling the sea of dunes for days now, in reality it had only been two. He had made sure to stock up on water and food before embarking on his quest back home, having pulled his hood up to keep the sun from his face and a mask to keep the sand from beating him up. He walked along one of the large dunes and glanced back down at his compass, making sure he kept himself going in the right direction. He knew there was a pass ahead of him, best thing to do would probably be to traverse it during night to avoid any trouble. ”Not much longer, should be there by mid day tomorrow……….time flies when you travel alone I guess.” The alchemist kept his pace as the sun blazed within the afternoon sky, he would have to start setting up camp soon. The bovinite made sure to by a little bit of wood to start some fires, but once he got throigh the pass he would continue on until he reached Nirvana. “Just a little bit farther.” Delrius wiped the sweat from his brow, his determination pushing him to get as far as he could befor the sun began to set, making up some good time. He saw what looked like a campsite further ahead of him, he decided it might be best to stay out of sight for the moment, sitting behind one of the dunes to keep himself from their gaze. He made sure that he was far enough down the hill as to keep the light from his fire dim in their eyes, pulling his hood down and his mask off to brush the sand from his hair. ”Damn, now I know how Tit felt about getting sand everywhere.” Delrius chuckled as he reached into his satchel, pulling out some beetle jerky to eat, looking up at the stars and the full moon, helping to keep some visibility over the dunes of this mighty sea of sand. The alchemist grabbed his journal and a quill, beginning to write down his journey so far, notes that would be good for later from what he’s learned. “Another half day of walking and I’ll be there soon.” He put his journal away as he grabbed his canteen, taking a drink of water and checking how much he had left, “Need to conserve until I get back, but overall doing better than expected.” His skin felt a little dry, some sand had gotten in his teeth, but for the most part he could say that he’s enjoyed this adventure he set himself upon, leaning back on the dune as the cold sand helped to regulate his body temperature after the hot days. ”Better get some rest……..” The bovinite pulled out one of his caster guns, holding it across his body as he closed his eyes, thankfully he was a light sleeper, so if anyone tried to get close he could be ready, can’t be too careful in the sands. The camp near him had him only slightky concerned, but he wasn’t too worried because he made sure to keep out of sight and his presence invisible to them. ”Hopefully…….they are trying to sleep as well.” The next morning the alchemist awoke early, before the sun could rise and begin blazing the dunes with heat, packing his things and putting out the fire as he secured his bag over his shoulder. “Time to head out.” He started back on his journey home, walking up the dune to get a better vantage point over the e land, checking his map one more time before setting out. Delrius decided that traveling the dune over the camp he had spotted was the more efficient route, pulling his hood up along with his mask while he trekked on the soft surface, feeling the sand shift under his weight with each step. Too bad he miscalculated how much the top of the dune could hold. The sand gave way under his weight, causing him to lose balance and fall down the side of the dune. The bovinite let out a string of curses as he rolled and tumbled, heading straight towards the edge of the caravan, coming to a stop beside one of the tents, spitting out sand as he slowly started to stand up. ”Great……….just what I wanted.” He cursed under his breath, behinning to brush himself off, getting the sand out of his hair as his hood and mask had come loose in the fall, shaking himself off and getting back his motivation. “Not much longer now and you’ll be home, even if it’s not what was expected, the journey is fruitful in what it teaches.” He said sarcastically to himself, grabbing his compass and realizing it had fallen from his pocket. ”Damn……..” He started to search for it, eventaully finding it along his path where he had rolled down the hill, blowing the sand out of it, letting out a sigh of relief when he opened it and realized it wasn’t broken. Delrius had grown ignorant of his surroundings, having forgotten what had been at the bottom of that hill he had been traveling along. @Secretary of Sins

Hello everyone. I have a young bovinite who is inspiring to become a doctor, he still has much to learn, but I have faith in him. Looking for possibly a roleplay encounter in Nirvana where he seeks to purchase a medical book to start reading and studying to help further himself.

In Fungal Forest
Delrius had read about the fungal forests, hearing stories as well if homes that grew from the earth itself, he wanted to study such a thing for himself as well as find new plants to catalogue within his journal, such knowledge could help him with his studies. The bovonite had stepped off the beaten path as he had gone exploring, his caster guns strapped to his sides, never could be careful in these times. He moved aside some brush as he took notes on a few of the flowers and plants he had come into contact with, taking notes on what their properties might be as well as putting a small sketch into the journal. “Another one down. This has been a fruitful venture………I will have to come out here more often. I doubt I’ve even come close to seeing everything.” He smiled to himself as he placed the journal back into his bag, continuing on as he swatted at bugs flying around his head every now and then. He paused though as he heard a twig snap, slowly drawing one of his guns just in case, he couldn’t quite tell where the sound had originated from, taking a deep breath as he tried to relax. Combat was not his expertise, and he carried his caster guns as more of a last resort of something came down to violence, pulling the hammer back slowly so that he didn’t give away his position. “Alrighty………..not the best circumstances.” Delrius was out of his element here, he didn’t know what might lurk in these woods, and the thought of running into a feral beast was not at all appealing to him.
